Trapeze for Amateurs
Since it was first established in 1998, thousands of visitors have come to Trapezium to try their hand at the art of the flying trapeze. Invented in the mid-19th century by the Frenchman Jules Leotard, the flying trapeze has been exclusively practiced by trained professionals. What makes the Trapezium so unique is that it offers amateurs of all ages and skills the chance to learn the ins and outs of this exhilarating and unique sport.

Learning the Art of the Flying Trapeze
Participants are assessed individually and then taught at a level that corresponds to their abilities. The goal of the flying trapeze is to jump from an elevated platform as you swing from a trapeze bar suspended above a safety net. After acquiring the proper skills, participants are encouraged to attempt to jump from their trapeze bar into the arms of a trained professional who is suspended from another bar.

It's Safe, Too!
Each of Trapezium's trained professionals have at least 15 years of experience under their belt and the centre uses the same safety equipment as the Cirque du Soleil, making this an extremely safe exercise. All the equipment is provided on site.

Special Events
The Trapezium also offers many special events including corporate challenges, birthday parties and private lessons. One session at the Trapezium of Montreal will have you soaring to new heights and never wanting to come down!
