Perfumed, Not Spicy
This restaurant is the only place in Montreal where you can find food from l'île de la Réunion, a small island in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Madagascar. Its food is heavily influenced by African, French and Indian cuisines. Not too hot, it is spiced just right, so that it has a wonderful aroma but will not burn your tongue. The dominant spices are turmeric, ginger, garlic, and Thai pepper, making an interesting mélange of flavours. The most popular dishes are octopus and shark, and there are many other exotic dishes to choose from.

Bring Your Own Wine
This restaurant’s location on Duluth Street puts it in prime restaurant real estate, and like many restaurants on that street, this one allows you to bring your own wine. With moderate prices, it attracts a mixed clientele. It has been named among the 100 best restaurants in Montreal, and has won numerous awards and positive reviews.

Creole Ambience
In winter, you’ll appreciate the cozy dining room’s tropical Creole ambience, which will transport you to someplace warmer. It is small and friendly, decorated with bamboo and flowers as well as photos and souvenirs from the famous island.
