Belly-busting Burgers
Where do you find the "biggest and most delicious burger" in Montreal? According to the owners, Copoli restaurant is your destination. Although most diners have similar burger-and-fries-style platters, Copoli is the only restaurant of its kind that fills more than 50% of the plate with its colossal signature patty. The circumference and height of this beef round (enveloped by a fresh deli-style bun) is about the size of small meat pie. The burger size, however, is more than just a gimmick. Juicy and large, the burgers are made from freshly prepared ground beef served on thick, homemade rolls.

Copoli has two locations to serve you: one on de Maisonneuve across from Vendôme metro, and the other on St. Catherine Street near Greene. They also have pizzas, submarines, chicken and veggie burgers, steaks, sausages, brochettes, fries, wings, poutine, an assortment of salads and sandwiches. The overall theme of the food is one of munchies-craving satisfaction. This cozy little restaurant, with its neighbourhood feel serves up hearty and filling breakfast specials as well. Though the Copoli legacy is of Italian origin, the two restaurants have evolved into a truly Quebecois identity. A common dining destination for many locals, it has added character to the city and stands out as a singular throwback to 1960’s burger diners. Copoli has a take-out menu and offers free delivery.
