Run by the Gratton family since 1969, Quilles G Plus operates eight bowling centres in the greater Montreal area: Quilles G Plus Bannantyne, LaSalle, Le Forum, Mascouche, Repentigny, Rose-Bowl, Ville-Émard and Quilles G Plus Spot (Cartierville). It is the largest bowling chain in Quebec. In 1988, the 72-lane Rose-Bowl opened. It is the second largest bowling centre in Canada, and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Leagues Galore
If you’re looking to meet new people or stay in touch with the ones you already know, join a bowling league at Quilles G Plus. There are leagues for retired and semi-retired people, junior leagues for those 18 years old and under, amateur adult leagues, elite adult leagues, non-smoking leagues and leagues for the physically and mentally challenged. Additionally, fundraising events and “quill-o-thons” can be arranged at all locations for those who just can’t get enough.
Something for everyone
Popular activities include hosting children’s birthday parties, office parties and fundraisers. Patrons can also enjoy Cosmic Bowling—bowling in a club-like atmosphere with disco, rock and alternative music, fluorescent lighting and laser projections. Quilles G Plus centres are also equipped with pro shops at all locations, where serious bowlers can purchase men’s and womens’ bowling shoes, bags and both standard-sized and duckpin bowling balls. All centres have arcades and bars with both lottery-video machines and billiard tables, proving there’s truly something for everyone.
