An Unavoidable Neighbourhood
If Saint-Denis Street was only a modest strip of dirt in the 18th century, it has become, since the arrival of the tramway in 1864, one of the most animated streets of the city. The Latin Quarter saw the establishment of the Saint-Jacques Cathedral and CEGEP du Vieux Montreal, the National Library, Saint-Denis Theatre, the National Film Board, as well as a variety of cafés, restaurants and boutiques. Then Chinatown, downtown, the Gay Village, the Old Port and the Plateau Mont-Royal took shape around it. And that’s why it’s such an unavoidable street!

Domestic Comforts
Espace Confort Inn is managed by a small family who seeks to re-create the ambience that exists around the dinner table and share the serenity of their home. Set up in the middle of an ancestral house with a unique character, this family offers the pleasure of a comfortable bed and will inform curious travellers on the main attractions of the city. Each of the 25 rooms is furnished with a private washroom and kitchenette, air conditioning and cable television. Business travellers will take advantage of the high speed Internet, the phone with voicemail, and the conference room, while parents can bring along children aged 11 years and younger for free.

Re-Energize
At Espace Confort, a full breakfast is served in your room every morning. It gives you enough energy to take on the town but especially to attend the many events it hosts: International Jazz Fest, F1 Grand Prix, Canadian Tennis Masters, Tour de l’Île biking event, Just for Laughs Festival, Francofolies, the Fêtes Gourmandes, Montreal High Lights Festival, the International Fireworks competition at La Ronde, the Mosaïcultures, World Film Festival, Fantasia Fest, and more!
