Stepping into this cozy boutique is like walking through an old attic filled with treasures to unearth. The task of hunting down that perfect leather jacket or plaid mini is made easy since all items are organized by color and style. You can also rummage through old chests full of knit caps and silk scarves.
Vintage Lover’s Paradise
The owners love discovering precious pieces of vintage clothing and this is evident in the well-stocked shelves and racks of the store. Looking for a snakeskin pair of boots or gold strappy sandals perhaps? Footwear is scattered along in the boutique making it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for. A great selection of jeans, flannels and coats also fills the boutique. Feeling a little adventurous? Try on a sequined top or a taffeta gown. Tucked away in little corners are books, CDs and old soap opera magazines from the 1980s! Also, a third of the store is dedicated to silkscreen artists.
Indie Creations on Display
Local 23 is not just a vintage clothing store. Indie designers devote half of the boutique to exceptional pieces of clothing. Come and get to know artists and designers such Roadkill, Peril, and Sylwanka who create everything from graphic t-shirts to cool handbags.
