With their vast selection of comic books and graphic novels ranging from superhero titles such as Superman to the more critically and academically acclaimed Maus, Librairie Millénium is a favourite store among comic fans. Opened in 1991, the shop has a large inventory of new releases, as well as whole collections of discontinued comics for sale. And if, by any chance, they don’t have exactly what you are looking for, they will be happy to order it for you directly from the publisher.
Fully Loaded with Graphic Novels
Walking into Librairie Millénium can be a bit overwhelming. Wall to wall comics, neatly organized in trays and staked horizontally for convenient flipping fill the wall shelves and counters. Even the walls themselves are full of suspended comics, so that anywhere you look in the store there are comics. Although the space is relatively small, the owner has organized the graphic novels so that what you’re looking for is easy to find. They sell Spiderman, Batman, Doktor Sleepless, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk, Iron & the Maiden as well as lots more famous and lesser-known titles.
Comic Relief
In addition to comic books and graphic novels, Librairie Millénium also sells trade paperbacks including several volumes of 100 Bullets and others. As they often have sales at different times of the year, it is a good idea to visit frequently to make the most of your comic book shopping. Since comics are not only popular among children anymore, Librairie Millénium has a growing clientele of all ages.
