A Timeless Experience
The elegant dining room, which looks as though it could have been open for 20 years or for two, is a stylish and comfortable place. Restaurant Leméac claims a very diverse crowd and on certain nights serves over 300 dinners. The restaurant can seat 100 and in the summer the spacious terrace adds 50 more.
Reinvented Bistro Cuisine
The chefs take their cues from the highest bistro cuisine and then give it a twist. For example, one of the appetizers is butternut squash soup served with Emmenthal cheese, a playful re-invention of French onion soup. Another popular dish is calf liver made very thick in a seasoned pan and finished in the oven with caramelized onions and an herb crust.
Night Owl Menu
After 10 p.m., diners can choose from a reduced menu for a special price. Between 10 p.m. and midnight Leméac plays host to the after-theater crowd coming in for a late night snack as well as a younger crowd coming to dine before going out to party. The atmosphere is very lively but make sure to make reservations – otherwise you are taking a chance.

Top off your evening with a bottle of wine from the elaborate wine list, a selection of fine Quebecois cheeses and sweet desserts. Restaurant Lemeac is dedicated to sophisticated and satisfying cuisine for every course, all the way from appetizer to au revoir.
