Le Verre Bouteille has been a fixture on the Plateau Mont-Royal since 1942, it started out as the Buffet Delorimier. In 1996, it was refashioned and became Le Verre Bouteille. The décor emphasizes its decades as a neighbourhood pub and feature a simple and cozy, eclectic charm. Here you can get lovely pub fare, listen to music, chat with friends and play some pool.
Simple Snacks and Quality Brews
During the day, Le Verre Bouteille is a café with tapas and light meals. At night, it becomes a dimly lit local hotspot, offering snacks like chips, pizza, peanuts, olives, and feta spreads to enjoy with beer on tap or by the bottle. Drop by from 2 to 8 p.m. for happy hour drink specials or try a signature microbrew for a unique taste. Whether you pull up a stool with a drink in hand or head to the pool table in the back for a laid-back game of billiards, Le Verre Bouteille’s old-fashioned atmosphere and friendly staff will make for a night well spent.
Live Music Shows Bring Down the House
Several times throughout the year, Le Verre Bouteille hosts live music shows called “les shows cool,” each with a different theme. Saturday nights they host up-and-coming francophone artists from around Quebec, giving local musicians an opportunity to showcase their talents for enthusiastic audiences. They also have events like the annual Authors Cabaret.
