Opened in the late ‘80s, Le Drugstore has become known to regulars as the “Taverne de bar de l’est,” where everyone knows how to have a good time. A combination bar and discothèque, this place does not disappoint. Built on six floors, only accessible by stairs, this club even has its own “Times Square”—complete with neon signs and corporate logos.
Colourful Décor
With an American ‘60s décor, Le Drugstore spans the colours of the rainbow, emulating the gay flag. There is a jukebox, a popcorn machine, and even old movie cameras to add to the look. They have two entire floors dedicated to dancing and even have two terraces, including one rooftop space. There’s a quieter bar and lounge, closed off, with pool tables.
Events and entertainment
With a capacity around 1,000, Le Drugstore always has room. Special events and nights, like a singing competition, Karaoke, drag queens, and much more, keeps this club always jumping. During the week, three floors are open, while weekends claim the entire building.
