Irresistibly Irish
If you enjoy modern and traditional Irish music and a mug of fine imported ale, you must stop by Hurley’s Irish Pub. The two-storey, multiple lounge pub, where Irish musicians have performed rollicking jigs nightly since 1993, is the destination of choice for Montrealers and Irish ex-pats on St. Patrick’s Day.

From Scotch to Irish Whisky
Hurley’s has a diverse clientele that ranges from students to businessmen. They create a festive atmosphere as they chat and laugh among friends while sipping on a pint. Seated away from the noise near the fireplace or closer to the action in front of one of its two stages, patrons can try out 18 kinds of beer on tap (including 13 imports, five Canadian). Or relaxing on the outdoor terrace that is open from spring until late autumn, you can choose a scotch or whisky from one of the best selections in the Montreal area to sip on as you people-watch on the vibrant downtown street. Hurley’s also has an additional walled-in courtyard in the back for a more private outdoor tipple and chat.

Irish Stew and A Pint of Ale
In true pub tradition, Hurley’s also features a kitchen serving everything from snacks to full meals. House specialties include hearty, fortified fare like Guinness beef stew and Irish Mist lamb stew. The daily menu includes traditional Irish dishes such as homemade steak and kidney pie and standing prime rib with Yorkshire pudding. A traditional breakfast is served until 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

From its traditional music, to its folklore dancing, to its food and decor, everything about Hurley’s is reminiscent of the Emerald Isle. In fact, its stone walls, coat of arms, old fashioned beer mugs and dynamic colours will make you believe you're in a Dublin pub.
