While most people think of Mont Tremblant as an internationally renowned downhill ski centre, the recent addition of two world-class golf courses – Le Geant and Le Diable – have turned this famous Quebec resort into an even more popular vacation destination no matter what the season!
Le Geant
Designed by Thomas McBroom, Le Geant is a colossal eighteen-hole golf course etched out of the mountainside and is one of the most challenging championship calibre courses in the province. Marked by two artificial lakes and 52 white bunkers or sand-traps, Le Geant has garnered rave reviews by golfers from across North America for its breath-taking plateaus and multi-level fairways. The winner of a four-and-a-half star rating by Golf Digest in 1992 and a silver medal from Golf Magazine for 1998 to 2002, Le Geant is a par-72 course that covers a total of 6826 yards. Featuring a newly renovated restaurant, clubhouse and fully equipped locker room, Le Geant is setting the standards for golf courses across the province!
Le Diable
A fiendishly enjoyable course, Le Diable was designed by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry to include panoramic views of Mont Tremblant and Lac Ouimet. Inspired by the famous golf courses of Arizona, this 18-hole, par-71 course is nestled by a beautiful pine forest and features numerous red sand-traps that give Le Diable its name. Having played host to notable dignitaries including Prime Minister Jean Chretien and former President Bill Clinton, Le Diable offers golf enthusiasts of all skill levels a challenging 7056-yard course that continues to attract visitors from around the globe.
