A Floral Twist on Several Everyday Functions
Fuchsia Épicerie Fleur is a Montreal favourite that doesn’t fit into a single category. Like many of its Plateau neighbours, Fuchsia serves multiple functions. It is equally a boutique that’s great for gift shopping, an affordable vegetarian café, and a catering service. Fuchsia puts its own twist on the roles it’s claimed by including edible flowers as ingredients or the main focus of every dish or product!

Homemade from the Heart
Fuchsia Épicerie Fleur makes all its products on site, from the edible to the decorative. The boutique carries three categories of products: home, bath, and kitchen. You might find yourself tempted by beautiful wooden bowls, edible massage bars, and soy candles, or even eco-friendly cleaners.

Bring on the Veggies for your “Meal of the Day”
All of Fuchsia’s cuisine is vegetarian and often vegan. Even if the “meal of the day” includes cheese, eggs or milk products, there is always a vegan option. The team strives to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions, so be sure to ask all your questions!

Encouraging Eco-Friendly Habits
Fuchsia takes its ecological mission beyond promoting plant-based diets and uses local resources and natural ingredients as much as possible. Among its products, all containers are reusable and recyclable, many of them sturdy mason jars. Fuchsia uses only post-consumer recycled paper for all printing and avoids sticky labels. To encourage customers to adopt similar eco-friendly habits, Fuchsia offers discounts on products re-filled in their original containers instead of bought anew. In the café, Fuchsia has a “bring your own container” policy for take-out, though if you’re in a real pinch they might lend you their dishes.
