History
Since its inauguration in 1998, the Action-Directe indoor rock-climbing centre has been a popular choice for Montrealers looking to take their love of outdoor activities to the extreme.

Bragging Rights
As the one of the only rock climbing centres in Canada to boast a 3D wall, a climbing wall designed to perfectly recreate the natural contours and look of a real rock wall, the centre also features a 24-foot climbing wall for rock climbers of all ages and skill levels. As well, Action Directe is the one of few rock climbing gyms in Quebec that offers a climbing school for children.

Get Climbing
Visitors are welcome to try out the centre's facilities with no previous climbing experience, although one of the gym's trained and qualified monitors are required to assist you in what is referred to as 'supervised climbing'. The gym also offers private and group climbing lessons in order to become an accredited rock climber.

More Fun
While Action Directe remains an indoor rock climbing centre, they also organize various outdoor excursions throughout Quebec (summer and winter) under the watchful eye and guidance of one of their experienced climbers. Other services available at the centre include children's birthday parties, day camp for kids, scholastic field trips, an outdoor obstacle course, trampolines, Tarzan ropes, as well as outdoor soccer fields and volleyball courts.
