Opened in 1984, Charlie’s American Pub is located is a basement pub located in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Montreal's Bishop Street. Although it may seem dark, this pub has many things to keep it light and lively. The ambience is relaxed and on special occasions you can catch live acts. It’s always rocking at Charlie's!
Charlie’s American Pub may have stone walls and a fireplace, but it maintains that classic “pub look” nonetheless, thanks to the abundance of wood in the décor. Although the place is small, with a capacity of just 76 patrons, as many as 20 people can sit at the bar. If you’re feeling lucky, grab some friends and play a game of pool.
If you like good deals on drinks, you'll love what Charlie's has to offer. The mixed drinks are doubles, and there are shooters and cheap beers. There’s Coors and Bud Light, Corona, Heineken, Labatt, and Molson. And unlike most other bars, the drink specials at Charlie's are a daily feature.
