A Fabulous Fiesta
The big dining room of this restaurant-bar calls for a fiesta. The numerous signs that read “fiesta!” leave no doubt about the first vocation of the place. It has wooden floors and wide windows looking out onto the Main. During the afternoon, two televisions spit Spanish satellite-transmitted programs, but as soon as the sun comes down, the TV makes room for dance and flamenco shows.

Flamenco Fridays
On Fridays, professional dancers inspire neophyte dancers to begin the evening. After, families, bachelors, couples and people from different walks of life invade the dance floor till early morning.

The Galician
Gallego means “Galician” in Spanish, that is, the people from Galicia. This small province of northern Spain is known for the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage route that crosses its lands, for its Celtic influences and for its great proximity, geographic and cultural, to Portugal. That’s one of the reasons why you’ll find sardines on the menu of the Gallego. Also on the menu are various tapas items as well as Spanish omelette, soups, mussels and smoked salmon.
