Convenience and Chocolate
Built in 1898, the Castel Durocher is a Victorian house renovated by architect Mario Biocca in 1982. Situated in downtown Montreal near McGill University, McGill metro station, and some major shopping centres, this B&B in the heart of the city is the perfect place to indulge. In addition to Internet access and private parking, they also offer Belgian chocolate on the premises! As it’s also the home of the chocolate shop Chic Choc, they always have some chocolate treats to offer you. Need to work off all that chocolate? Located near the Holiday Inn, guests at Castel Durocher have access to all of its facilities, including the swimming pool, sauna and exercise room, for a nominal daily charge. The Castel Durocher doesn't serve breakfast, instead offering a selection of baked goods from La Patisserie Belge, European cheeses, fruit, yogurt, and their own famous chocolate spread.

The Rooms
The Stainglass Suite has two full-renovated bedrooms with an access to a bathroom, a kitchen, a television and a computer connected to the Internet. The floor also offers a private living room and a dining room. The Aimé Geoffrion Suite is a large fully renovated bedroom with a private bathroom, a dining room, a living room with a sofa-bed, air conditioning, a computer with Internet access, a kitchen, a terrace and a private entrance. Finally, the Penguin Room is located in the Victorian tower of the building. It offers a queen sized bed. It comes with a private powder room (i.e. toilet and sink).
