Le Baron de Faillon offers patrons an intimate environment with its small seating capacity of 30. The atmosphere here is friendly and relaxed. The unique collection of vintage hats whimsically displayed on the wall not only serves as art, but can also add a little amusement to an evening out.
Must eats include beef or smoked salmon carpaccio and a variety of tapas such as the sautéed garlic shrimp, stuffed mushrooms and guacamole. With salads, pasta, chicken, and pork featured on the table d’hôte menu, you’ll surely find a dish that makes your mouth water. All plates are served with fresh vegetables from the market and the presentation is artistic. Taste the banana flambée-filled crêpe with melted chocolate or the Tour Royale, a three-tiered chocolate cake with ice cream. Sip a bowl of café latte or a mochaccino with your dessert.
As the menu, the décor is always changing, from vintage to ethnic. Every object here has its own history. The polished wood bar with earth tone tiles and the charcoal coloured backdrop contrast with the creamy colour of this bistro. When the weather permits, this quaint restaurant’s sliding glass doors will also be opened.
Let’s Do Brunch: The Baron is also opened earlier on weekends and offers a tasty choice of brunch menus such as eggs benedict and the special Baron omelette.
